Program Highlights
- two years (four full-time semesters); 60 credits
- credential awarded: Diploma in Performing Arts—Music
- can lead to a Bachelor of Music or a Bachelor of Arts degree upon transfer into 3rd year at a university (also known as the Music UT/Diploma program)
- entry into the program is by audition and other assessment testing
Who is it for?
- students who have training and competency on an instrument (or in voice)
- students who have studied music theory rudiments
- students who are seriously considering a career in music and/or the arts
Program Highlights
- two years (four full-time semesters); 60 credits
- credential awarded: Diploma in Performing Arts – Foundation for Music Therapy Studies
- meets the prerequisite course requirements for 3rd year entry into Capilano University’s Bachelor of Music Therapy program
- provides applied musical training on piano, guitar and voice, as the foundation for further study
