Music students and industry professionals will have the opportunity to upgrade their existing skills and gain hands-on experience with cutting edge immersive audio technology through ÇïϼÂ×Àí’s new Advanced Certificate in Applied Audio program.

A true story from the 16th century is brought to life through the trials and tribulations of Italian prima donna Isabella Andreini and King Henri III, one of France’s first openly gay kings.

An upcoming Amelia Douglas Gallery exhibit showcases Mexican culture through the works of two Mexican artists. In collaboration with the Mexican Consulate in Vancouver, The Heart’s Rhythm by Mauricio Silerio and Color Calavera by Adrián Edgar will share the gallery in a vibrant celebration of the country’s rich traditions.

In his time as a playwright, actor and artistic director, Marcus Youssef has been committed to using art and culture to build a more just, humane and fun society. In recognition of his creativity and its power to invoke change, today Youssef was named Honorary Fellow at ÇïϼÂ×Àí.

In celebration of Alumni Relations’ 35th anniversary, the ÇïϼÂ×Àí Foundation and Alumni Relations have awarded 35 alumni who embody Douglas’ vision of graduating resilient global citizens with the Alumni35 Award.

The ÇïϼÂ×Àí departments of Theatre and Stagecraft & Event Technology present Virginia Woolf’s Orlando, adapted by Sarah Ruhl. The production will have its opening night on March 17 at 7:30pm in the New Westminster Campus’ Laura C. Muir Theatre.

The teenage years feel longer and more bloodthirsty than ever, as ÇïϼÂ×Àí’s talented cast and crew perform Moira Buffini’s A Vampire Story on March 10-17.
